KCV INNOVATION FELLOWSHIP
The purpose of the KCV Innovation Fellowship experiential learning program is to provide proven frameworks, educational resources, and networking opportunities to create a hands-on, customized, and integrated educational experience focused on commercialization. This program will equip the next generation of ecosystem builders with the practical skills necessary to lead the translation of Kentucky’s most innovative solutions to the real-world market.
Program Requirements and Recommendations
Open to members of KCV Partnered Institutions & affiliated members (see below for current list)
Undergraduate students, graduate level students, faculty and staff are welcome
Flexible implementation for a semester-length course infused with a practicum section; part-time effort will require 5-10 hours/wk. dedicated to this program
There is a 2021-2022 in-kind participation stipend available:
$1000 per fellow
The KCV Fellows program includes bi-weekly cohort meetings, independent study with high-quality startup training materials, guided application exercises, and bi-weekly coaching sessions with KCV staff and coaches. Request a sample syllabus or schedule a discussion for more details.
Cohort meetings are held bi-weekly on Friday afternoons from XPM – XPM EST via Zoom. Captions and automatic transcripts will be available. Coaching sessions take place via Zoom and are scheduled on alternating weeks.
