Savon Gray is a Research Development & Commercialization Coordinator for KCV, where his primary responsibilities include supporting research development and commercialization efforts across Kentucky’s higher education institutions. He works to strengthen research capacity, support collaborative initiatives, and connect researchers and innovators with resources and opportunities to advance their ideas toward commercialization.

 

Prior to joining KCV, Savon worked at Forecastr, where he helped startup and business founders better understand and navigate their financials through financial modeling and planning. He also brings firsthand experience as a former founder, having launched and operated his own business. These experiences have shaped his passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and helping others turn ideas into opportunities. Savon is excited about his role with KCV because it gives him the opportunity to learn a new field while contributing to Kentucky’s innovation ecosystem and helping researchers and entrepreneurs move their ideas forward.
