Myron Adams is a Licensing and New Ventures Manager for KCV. In this role, his primary responsibilities include collaborating with KCV Partner Institutions to provide education on the commercialization process as well as assessing, managing, and licensing intellectual property originating from the Partner Institutions.

 

Prior to joining KCV, Myron earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville in Biology with a concentration in Genetics. Following graduation, Myron embarked on the path to becoming a registered patent agent by successfully passing the patent bar exam. His dedication to the field led him to an opportunity as a patent agent as he commenced his career at Caterpillar Inc. shortly thereafter. Myron’s knowledge in biology, combined with his experience in laboratory settings and patent preparation and prosecution, positions him at the forefront of safeguarding innovation in a field where scientific knowledge and intellectual property converge.
