Innovation Associate

Mak Livingood is an Innovation Associate for KCV, supporting commercialization research, pipeline development and marketing and communications efforts across KCV’s programs. She works alongside the KCV team to research commercialization opportunities, maintain technology pipeline information and communicate the organization’s work and impact.

Previously a Commercialization Intern with KCV, Mak brings hands-on experience in research commercialization, technology transfer, entrepreneurship and outreach to her expanded role. Her passion for creating opportunities and driving positive change in Kentucky motivates her work in innovation and commercialization.

An Appalachian native, she is committed to expanding opportunities across the commonwealth and connecting innovative ideas with the resources and support needed to create meaningful impact. Mak holds bachelor’s degrees in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship and Computer Information Systems from Morehead State University and is pursuing a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Non-Profit Management at the University of Kentucky.
